Red Graham Award
(For incoming Mizzou students)
DEADLINE: December 15, 2015

Applications must be completed online at www.mizzou.com/IncomingScholarships

The Red Graham Award – through the Alumni Scholars
Program - is given to incoming Mizzou students to cultivate alumni leaders of the future by recognizing their outstanding academic achievement, community contributions and their potential for success at MU.

Each active regional alumni chapter awards one Graham scholarship, worth $4,000 over four years. These awards are made possible by alumnus Robert A. 'Red' Graham, whose career in entertainment and professional athletics, coupled with his love for Mizzou, led him to create an endowment that funds these scholarships.

• Be an incoming freshman or transfer student who has been accepted to the University of Missouri.
• Rank in the upper 20% of your high school graduating class OR have an ACT score of 26 or higher.

In addition to contact information and background information, you will be prompted to list awards, extra-curricular activities, and leadership roles. The application also includes two essay questions:
1. List any work and/or volunteer experience. In addition, provide an essay describing some of the ways you have contributed to society through your volunteerism and how those experiences have impacted your life and the lives of others.
2. Write an essay (no longer than 200 words) to explain why you are applying for a scholarship. Because some scholarships require financial need, you may want to include information on your family’s financial situation.
